The aim of this project is to provide innovative architecture directly above Euston station, which caters for flexible contemporary living, promoting diverse urban activities and providing equal opportunities. Inspired by train seat reservation systems that maximise efficiency, this proposal maximises occupancy and efficiency by creating a series of fully adaptable spaces.
The system features a series of appliances that are specifically chosen for the occupants’ demands. That is why the new field is called ‘Cloud’. A kaleidoscope of structure and system organises spaces and loads the individuals’ items in line with a cloud system of data. It provides a resource-efficient solution to wasteful contemporary living as each occupant temporarily occupies a space, specifically modified and personalised for their needs.
